In this hands-on workshop, we will start by identifying your unique gardening goals. Are you interested in vegetable production and preservation for homesteading or have you always wanted to grow herbs for a home apothecary? Maybe it’s cut flowers or native plants you are most interested in. Honing in on these goals will help inform the seed sourcing and selection process. Together, with your gardening goals in mind, we will create a map of your ideal garden which will include plant variety, quantity, spacing etc. In this class we will also touch upon topics such as sunlight, soil preparation, water access, and plant programming, so that from seed to harvest your garden will thrive. Snack and drink provided by Goosefoot Cook and Grow.
